SRJC Education Plan Workshops – Make Sure You Sign Up!

 

There is plenty of space available for April workshops at the SRJC or Online!

***IMPORTANT***    

Education Plan Workshops (EPWs) are ONLY for Spring 2024 graduating high school students that plan to attend SRJC Summer/Fall 2024 and beyond. Workshops are intended for new students that are currently finishing high school, including students who participated in the high school dual enrollment program.

SRJC Education Plan Registration for WHS Workshops (past event)

You can register for SRJC Ed Plan workshops at SRJC Campus/online through the SRJC Website

Registration for the three available dates at Windsor High School is now open and can be found at the link below:

Space is limited so make sure to register soon! There are other Education Plan workshops being hosted at the SRJC, these are just the only three taking place at WHS. 


As a reminder, you must have already completed your application for Summer/Fall 2024 at the SRJC and completed the online orientation to register for the workshop. Once you complete these steps and the workshop you will be eligible for Priority 3 registration. 

ASVAB Registration 

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery test that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. Military recruiters will be administering the ASVAB at Windsor High School on TBD. If you would like to take the ASVAB please complete and submit the form by clicking on the link above and arrive at the Main Office by . You must be 17 years of age or older to take the ASVAB.

(deadline passed) 4th Annual Heart of Sonoma County Awards - Youth Volunteer of the Year Award


If chosen, middle or high school students will win up to $1,000 each. Anyone can nominate, parents, teachers, coaches, counselors, and students can even nominate themselves! 

We are also seeking high schoolers to serve as youth panelists for this event, which is an excellent leadership and public speaking opportunity! If you know some students who may be interested, please let me know and I can provide more information about the requirements and commitment.

We’d like to remind you that it’s that time of year again for high school seniors and their families to learn more about services they can receive at SRJC through our Disability Resources Department. This year’s event will once again be held via Zoom, as we’ve received feedback that this provides a more convenient option for students and their families. The presentation will include an overview of our department and services, perspectives from current SRJC students, steps to get started with our department, and opportunity for questions at the end.
