Danielle Buckman was selected as the new principal of Windsor High School (WHS) for the 2023-24 school year. She became the principal for Big icture Learning for the 2026-27 school year, as the program was being sunsetted and rolled into Windsor High School. Danielle spent six years as a math teacher at Windsor High School. She served as the District’s Math Teacher on Special Assignment for two years, helping staff members implement new math standards and assisting students. Before becoming WHS’s Principal, she served as Assistant Principal at WHS for the 2022-2023 school year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in math, and she holds a single subject credential in math. She also has a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on Teaching and Learning and Instructional Leadership and Amins
Danielle is passionate about education and looks forward to supporting the BPL community and continuing to make WHS the best possible experience for all students, parents and community. Her goal is that every student feels seen, valued and knows they can be successful at Windsor High School. Students are welcomed and encouraged to stop by her office and say hi.
Nora Luna is the friendly face that greets you in the office, the kind voice that answers the phone and the real boss at BPL. She is your go to contact for any and all needs assistance or information. Do not hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
Tara Falkenberg is a dedicated teacher and advisor at Big Picture Learning Windsor, where she is passionate about fostering student growth through a personalized, interest-based education. She is committed to integrating Big Picture Learning philosophies into the classroom, emphasizing real-world learning, personal growth, and active engagement. Together Tara works with her students to discover their passions and pursue meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. She believes in empowering students to live a life of health and happiness!
Diana Rudesill is the academic counselor for BPL Windsor and a founding member of Big Picture Learning in the Windsor Unified School District. Diana is dedicated to providing the social, emotional and mental support for all of her students. She works hard to create a culture of kindness, creativity and connection within the school community. With over 30 years of experience in education, Diana teams up with the other BPL educators to help find the unique learner in every student, and helps students find their passion and purpose.
