Patience please, for attendance issues

Dear WHS Families:

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your grace and patience for our office in regards to absences and tardies. Our Attendance and Welfare Liaison will be out of the office until January due to unforeseen circumstances. While we are pulling other office staff to try to cover her duties, the reality is without her our processes are going to be severely challenged. Please know, if you are calling to report an absence, trying to get an early dismissal, or otherwise trying to manage your student’s attendance issues, you will need to be patient and perhaps come to the office in person to complete your request. Please know that staff members who are stepping up to assist are doing their best to help all of our families, but are themselves learning the system. We respectfully ask for your kindness and patience as we navigate this challenge.
