Hello WUSD Community:
There was an earthquake in Humboldt County at approximately 10:45 this morning. While we received the warnings here, and some of us even felt a tiny roll, but the effects were largely muted here. In an abundance of caution, we have our maintenance department checking all of our sites, but we have no expectation of findings. The subsequent tsunami warning, though it does include our coastline, would be extremely unlikely to have any impact here in Windsor. We will of course continue to monitor conditions, but as of now the school day is continuing as normal. If anything changes, we will of course let families know.
