PLEASE READ: WHS Counseling Department and Student Schedule Information

Dear Jaguar Students and Families,
We are excited to welcome students back to school on Thursday, August 15, 2024. The Windsor High School Counseling Department is thrilled to announce the addition of Sandra Brito to our team. Please refer to the student alphabet breakdown below for students assigned counselors.  

Student Schedule Information

If you were unable to attend Orientation, tentative schedules will be available to pick up in the main office between August 9th - 14th from 8am -4pm. Schedules may continue to have changes, so please check the portal on Wednesday, August 14th after 4pm to view your finalized schedule. On the first day of school students should arrive early to pick up their finalized goldenrod schedule.  

Students need to see their counselor at break, lunch, or after school to make any necessary class changes once school resumes. Due to the complexity of our master schedule, and in order to best serve our students, changes will only be accommodated in-person. 

Reasons for a schedule change 

• Incorrect class level placement: Math, Spanish, Science, Honors, AP

• Duplicate classes: 2 of the same classes on schedule

• Class change due to completing the course in summer school

• Double booked classes in the same block

• Missing a required class for graduation or A-G university entrance requirement

• Dropping a class that is no longer needed

Schedule changes are rarely possible for the following reasons

• Time change

• Teacher change

• Rotation Change

• Core Change

• Early or late start requests
